Sprinkler Systems
All structures other than residences with a building height of more than 30.50 m, In residences with a building height of more than 51.50 m or 17 floors, In indoor parking lots with a total area of more than 600 m2, In hotels, dormitories, guesthouses, guest houses with a room count of more than 100 or a bed count of more than 200 in a building with more than one floor, and in all facilities with a bed count of more than 21.50 m, In multi-storey stores, shopping, trade, entertainment and assembly areas with a total area of more than 2000 m2, In buildings with a total area of more than 1000 m2 where easily flammable and combustible substances are produced or kept.
Fire Cabinets
It is mandatory to install fire cabinets in high-rise buildings, manufacturing plants, workshops, warehouses, hotels, motels, health, assembly and educational buildings with a total indoor usage area of more than 1000 m2 and in all buildings with an indoor usage area of more than 2000 m2. Fire cabinets will be arranged on each floor and in each section separated by fire walls, with the distance between them not exceeding 30 m.
Hydrants
In residential areas with a zoning plan area larger than 5000 m2 and containing all kinds of usage areas, it is mandatory to install an external hydrant system. THE DISTANCE BETWEEN HYDRANTS IS 50 METERS IN VERY HIGH DANGER AREAS, 100 METERS IN HIGH DANGER AREAS, 125 METERS IN MEDIUM DANGER AREAS, AND 150 METERS IN LOW DANGER AREAS
Fire Department Connection Port
In buildings larger than 1000 m2, it is for the fire department to be able to pump water into the system from outside. It is mandatory to have a fire department water connection with a nominal diameter of at least 100 mm for water fire extinguishing systems. There must be a check valve in the system and elements that will allow the water to drain automatically must be installed. FIRE DEPARTMENT FLOOR CONNECTION VALVE It is designed for the fire department to be able to provide water from inside the building. It can be manufactured as DN50 or DN65. It must be placed close to the fire cabinets inside the building. It is mandatory to use it at least once every two floors in high-rise buildings.
