Pump and Hydrophore
Systems

self-priming jet package booster pump

Hydrophors and pumps, indispensable components of mechanical plumbing systems, are now available in a wide variety of capacities and specifications. We sell and install pumps used in heating and cooling systems and domestic hot water pressurization systems, depending on their application.

Circulation Pumps

Circulation pump: In heating and cooling systems, it is the pump that allows hot or cold water to circulate in a closed circuit.

Circulation pump: The hot water circulation pump ensures that the hot water prepared in hot water producers such as boilers, floor standing heaters, wall-mounted condensing boilers, etc., is delivered smoothly to the heat exchanger such as radiators, fan coils, heat exchangers, etc., located at the top of the building and at the farthest point from the boiler (critical circuit).

The circulation pump used in the cooling circuit ensures that the water taken from cold water producers such as chillers, cooling towers, etc. is delivered to the heat exchanger, fan-coil, air conditioning unit, etc. at the end point of the installation.

Circulation Pump Usage Areas

It can be used to circulate both hot and cold water in heating, cooling, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in all living spaces. Product models are also suitable for industrial use.

What is the Purpose of a Circulation Pump?

Circulation pumps can be used in two different areas.

The hot water circulation pump ensures that hot water prepared in hot water generators (boilers, central heating boilers, wall-mounted condensing boilers), etc., is delivered smoothly to the heat exchanger (radiator, fan coil, heat exchanger, etc.) located at the highest point of the building and furthest from the boiler (the critical circuit). The circulation pump used in the cooling circuit ensures that water taken from cold water generators (chiller groups, cooling towers, etc.) is delivered to the heat exchanger (fan coil, air handling unit, etc.) at the final point of the installation. The circulation pump overcomes the resistance of straight pipes and local fixtures (valves, fittings, etc.) in the transmission line.

What are the Types of Circulation Pumps?

There are two types of circulation pumps: wet rotor circulation pumps and dry rotor circulation pumps. A wet rotor circulation pump circulates hot water (90°C) pressurized within the pump around the outer wall of the pump's rotor, which also cools the pump. Because wet rotor pumps do not contain an external motor and are cooled by the fluid they pressurize, they are quieter than dry rotor pumps.

In a dry rotor circulation pump, as the name suggests, the rotor remains dry. Cooling of the motor is provided by a ventilation fan (located at the rear of the motor) coupled to the electric motor. The ventilation fan directs outside air to the fins on the motor casing, thus cooling the pump motor. Due to this fundamental difference in the motor cooling system, a dry rotor circulation pump operates more noisily than a wet rotor circulation pump. In a dry rotor circulation pump, the motor and hydraulic section are connected using a "coupling" connection.

Water pumps

Hydrophore Installation is used wherever water pressure is not sufficient.   Hydrophore systems are generally used in high-rise buildings where the pressure of the city's mains water supply is insufficient. The installation is important for efficient use of the hydrophore system.

When the city network pressure is sufficient, the hydrophore should be deactivated and when the mains water is insufficient, it should be activated.
